Matching Funds:

You can double your contribution to Friends of the Fields if your company participates in a matching gifts program. Just send in your company’s matching gift form along with your contribution.

Securities Contribution:
 
Securities, stocks, bonds and mutual fund contributions make excellent donations and allow donors to avoid capital gains taxes. These contributions also give Friends of the Fields a more secure future.

Endowment Fund:

Funds can be donated into an Endowment Fund and the owner is able to take a charitable contribution income tax deduction and pay no capital gains tax on substantial appreciated value of a long held stock. The principal can be kept fully invested permanently and the earnings used each year to benefit Friends of the Fields' preservation of farmland.
 
Trusts, wills, and bequests:

Personal trusts can be donated and paid to Friends of the Fields upon the grantor's death.
 

In-Kind Gifts:

In-kind gifts, such as computers, professional appraisals, and equipment, etc., help us keep our overhead expenses low.
 
All contributions may be designated for a specific use.
 
Organizational Status:

Friends of the Fields is a division of North Olympic Land Trust [NOLT] a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1990. Copies of the Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, and IRS Tax Exempt Status ar available upon request.
