Troy Smith
Troy was born in Tacoma, Washington and raised on a large commercial dairy farm in Sequim, Washington from 1963 to 1981. He received a BS in Animal Science (Dairy) from Washington State University. Troy learned the dairy business from the ground up including animal care, horticulture, mechanics and business. He is currently a partner in the four generation Maple View Farm, with deep roots in farming in the Sequim Dungeness Valley. Troy has full responsibility for crop production and machinery repair and maintenance on a farm that produces grass hay, alfalfa, silage corn, barley, commercial seed crops and wholesale nursery stock.
