Board Member: Ron Raven
Ron was born and raised in New Jersey, where his grandparents had a small farm. Always interested in ecology and preserving the earth’s environment, when it came time to retire from a career as an insurance agent, Ron decided to move to Sequim. He had vacationed here on several occasions, and like many others, fell in love with the Olympic Peninsula’s beauty, rural character, good weather, and friendly people. His involvement with Friends of the Fields is his contribution to help save a bit of “God’s Country” from development. He also promotes organic farming as the best possible way to preserve the earth and for good health.
