Advisory Board: Leilani Wood

A horticulturist for 30 years, Leilani has a BS in horticulture and an AS in Agriscience from Washington State University.  After returning home from college, she built, owned and operated a successful retail nursery for 12 years, and continues to operate a commercial greenhouse where she grows organic stevia.  Having lived on the Olympic Peninsula for 30 years, Leilani has broad knowledge of the Sequim Dungeness Valley farmland, crops and soil.  She is a public speaker on diverse topics, such as chemical-free gardening, soil amendment, and compost tea science and applications.  She has in-depth knowledge of ornamental plants that are appropriate for this region.
